Short acting hormonal methods
Adhesive
This method contains estrogen and progesterone.
It must be applied to the skin on any part of the body. Preferably those with less exposure. It must be changed every 7 days, without breaks. After the third consecutive adhesive, a 7 day break is made, when the period will occur.
No matter the intensity, period days or any other bleeding characteristics, a new adhesive must be applied to the skin 7 days after the third adhesive was removed.
Prevents pregnancy but does not prevent STIs.
THE ONLY WAY TO PREVENT STIs
IS THE USE OF CONDOMS.
USE A COMBINATION OF METHODS
FOR BETTER PROTECTION.
